Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Kaloris, a nutrition tracking service available on the web at kaloris.fit and as a mobile app. By using Kaloris you agree to these terms.
The service
Kaloris lets you log food, visualise your plate, and track calories, macronutrients, micronutrients, water intake, and body weight. You can use Kaloris without an account (guest mode, data stored on your device) or with an account and an optional paid membership that syncs your data across devices.
Not medical advice
Kaloris provides nutritional estimates for general informational purposes only. Nutrition values come from public food databases and user entries and can be inaccurate or incomplete. Kaloris is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating.
Accounts
You need an account to sync data across devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your email address current, since we use it for account and billing notices.
Membership and billing

Local, single-device tracking is free and requires no account.

The Kaloris Membership costs €4.99 per month plus applicable tax and adds multi-device sync of foods, logs, goals, water, weight, recipes, and favorites.

Payment is processed by Stripe. The membership renews monthly until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
Your data
You own the data you log in Kaloris. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and sync it in order to run the service. You can export your data from the app at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. See the Privacy Policy for details on what we store and where.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping of other users' data, interfering with the service's operation, or using Kaloris for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Kaloris is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "Updated" date above reflects the latest revision, and we will notify account holders of material changes by email or in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
